Toriyoshi Nishi Azabu

This is just what you would expect of a good sumi yakitori. The smoked taste is very strong so those who do not appreciate a charcoal-like taste in their skewers should refrain from going. Overall it is very good, though not excellent. Some of the produce they select is of excellent quality and some is rare, but I was not impressed with the simpler skewers. I would recommend trying the naizo (inner organs) skewers and their vegetables. Skin was also very good (normally I am not a fan) and I thought the nankotsu was amazing. The best was a zucchini-like taste flower that had a sweetness and bitterness to it that blew my mind. Here you can BYO for 3,000 a bottle; which is what we did.

Delicious menu selection and outstanding service. Atmosphere is busy and upbeat. Would recommend having the team take you on a journey. They also have a fantastic range of Sake’s.

I love this Yakitori! Have been there several times and the food was incredibly delicious. The menu does not have prices, so you can check before ordering. The bill for dinner for one person without alcohol should be around 7,000 Y and more.

The menu is in Japanese but you can order 'Omakase' (chef's choice) - they'll serve you a variety of Yakitori until you say stop. They ask you at the beginning if you have anything you can't eat, so you can avoid things you don't like. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is great too - not too casual, not too upscale. My favourite Yakitori place.

Walk down the steps to the lower level, slide open the door, and enter for a memorable experience about to begin. Place your order which is vocally passed on to the appropriate staff, order drinks, and sortly after have a gourmet feast of grilled chicken. The perfect atmosphere - the perfect meal.

A great, casual but a little upscale Yakitori place with lots of chicken meat and vegetable choices. Often needs a little waiting time in key times, but as the place is rather big, seats move quickly.

Quality yakitori though I wish they have more variation in their menu or seasonal specials etc

This is ana amazing restaurant, we've been twice now. Both times we had "omakase" (chef's choice) where the chef will decide what's best to eat - it was amazing. We had meatballs, okra, gizzards, cartelidge, chicken, chicken heart, kidney ... The list goes on. Staff were amazing too and we didn't have to wait long to get in

This place is awesome! Omakase until you ask them to stop.
